Toronto, ON (June 11, 2009) - In its second week of release Diana Krall's Live In Rio is #1 on the Canadian Music DVD SoundScan charts. Released on DVD and Blu-ray May 26 via Eagle Rock Entertainment, Live In Rio features the Grammy-winning Jazz Vocalist gracing the stage of the Historic Vivo Rio Theater in November 2008 to perform a catalogue of her standards including "The Boy From Ipanema" and "Quiet Nights" (from her recently released album of the same title).


Live In Rio was launched across Canada with an exclusive national engagement on the big-screen in High-Definition at 70 Cineplex Entertainment theatres on May 20.


Since her debut in 1993, Diana Krall has topped both the pop and jazz charts, selling millions of records worldwide. Her previous Eagle Rock release Live In Paris has surpassed 6x platinum in Canada and is one of the top selling DVDs world-wide for Eagle Rock.
