The TD Toronto Jazz Festival welcomes an impressive array of nations

Toronto - The TD Toronto Jazz Festival will be kicking off its 24th edition this summer and welcomes the world to the front steps of City Hall. The Festival is embracing the international flavour of our visiting guests, showcasing the very best in jazz, and is proud to present more than a dozen artists representing countries all over the world that will mix and mingle with the very best in Canadian talent.

Artists to grace the stage will include:
Angelique Kidjo (Benin); Eric Boeren (Netherlands); Hilario Duran (Cuban); Roberta Gambarini (Italian); Tomasz Stanko (Poland); Emir Kusturica and The No Smoking Orchestra (former Yugoslavia); Grace Kelly(Korean); Christy Doran (Ireland); James Hunter (UK); Billy’s Band (Russia); Miguel Zenon (Puerto Rico); and many more.

Other performers scheduled to appear at this year's Festival include
Harry Connick, Jr., Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck, Keith Jarrett, Mavis Staples, Roy Hargrove, Stanley Clarke, Bettye LaVette, Maceo Parker, Allen Toussaint, The Roots, Joshua Redman, David Sanborn and Nikki Yanofsky. And do not miss the free street party at Yonge-Dundas Square on Saturday July 3 featuring Grammy Award winner Macy Gray and R&B legend Chaka Kahn.
