Anne-Sophie Mutter and Mutter Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra makes Canadian Debut

OF THE MUTTER VIRTUOSI, WITH SOLOIST ANNE-SOPHIE MUTTER

Show One Productions presents famed violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter and her acclaimed Mutter Virtuosi chamber orchestra in their Canadian debut, Friday, November 21, 8 p.m. at Roy Thomson Hall, 60 Simcoe Street.

Famed for both her breathtaking virtuosity and her wide-ranging repertoire, Mutter joins her Virtuosi for two of chamber music’s most treasured works: Mendelssohn’s sparkling and animated Octet and Vivaldi’s ever fresh The Four Seasons. Concert opener is American composer Sebastian Currier’s Ringtones, commissioned especially for the Mutter Virtuosi.
