Edinburgh International Festival & Sinfini Music Launch 'Soundbites' Podcasts to Accompany the 2015 Concert Programme

This week the Edinburgh International Festival celebrates its digital media partnership with Sinfini Music with the launch of 35 exciting new ‘SoundBites’ podcasts produced to help Festival goers explore the 2015 musical concert programme.

This is the second consecutive year that the Festival has worked with Sinfini Music, the online destination for classical music, which specialises in providing diverse ways into the genre for new or existing classical music fans.  With over 50 concerts to choose from the Festival hopes that this incredible free resource will allow Festival goers to dig deeper into the programme before and after the musical event.

You can download a playlist, sample the music and discover more about the repertoire from the concerts to help you figure out whether Beethoven or Brahms is more your cup of tea.

All these resources are free and available on both the Festival and Sinfini Music’s sites.

Sinfini Music’s General Manager, Tina Poyser, said:as the Festival's Digital Media Partner for the second year running, we are thrilled to once again be breaking down the barriers to classical music through podcasts, videos, comic strips and feature articles. We look forward to getting audiences excited about this year’s stellar line-up of world class musicians and productions.”

Festival Director, Fergus Linehan added: “These unique, bite size podcasts will give music lovers unique insights into the thoughts of festival artists and the work being presented.  They are a wonderful addition to our 2015 programme."
